Data deletion

How to delete your Peppi data.

Peppi is local-first, so deleting app data is normally handled on your own device. If you enabled encrypted cloud backup, disable backup before uninstalling.

Delete local data inside the app

  1. Open Peppi.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap Reset all data.
  4. Confirm the reset.

This deletes local peptides, doses, vials, schedules, journal entries, photos stored by the app, profile data, settings, and cached app data.

Delete encrypted cloud backup data

  1. Open Peppi on a device that has cloud backup enabled.
  2. Go to Settings -> Cloud backup.
  3. Choose Disable backup or Delete backup.
  4. Wait for the confirmation that backup data was removed.

This requests deletion of encrypted backup blobs, encrypted snapshots, encrypted uploaded photos, lookup records, and locally stored recovery-code material.

If you no longer have the app

Email support@pepitrack.com with the subject "Peppi data deletion request". Do not send peptide names, doses, journal entries, photos, or recovery codes by email. We may ask for non-sensitive technical information to locate encrypted backup records if needed.

Uninstalling

Uninstalling Peppi deletes local app data from iOS or Android. If cloud backup was enabled, uninstalling alone may not delete the encrypted remote backup. Disable cloud backup first when possible.

Retention

Local data is deleted immediately by the operating system when reset or uninstall completes. Remote encrypted backup deletion is requested when cloud backup is disabled. Store-provider logs and aggregated install metrics controlled by Apple or Google follow their own retention policies.
