Privacy policy

Your data stays private by default.

Peppi is designed for sensitive health-related tracking. The app keeps core data on your device and uses optional cloud features only when you choose them.

Who we are

Peppi is a mobile app for peptide dose logging, vial inventory, reminders, journaling, and reports. This policy applies to the Peppi app and the public website at pepitrack.com.

Information stored on your device

Doses, schedules, peptides, vial inventory, journal entries, notes, progress photos, profile name, initials, profile picture, settings, emergency contact fields, and app preferences are stored locally using your phone's app storage.

Your profile picture and locally attached photos stay in private app storage unless you enable cloud backup. The app does not sell this information and does not use it for advertising.

Network content we fetch

The peptide catalog may be fetched from a public Firebase Firestore collection so reference information can be updated without a full app release. This is an anonymous read of public reference content. Your doses, vials, journal, profile, and photos are not sent during catalog fetches.

Optional cloud backup

Cloud backup is off by default. If enabled, Peppi encrypts your app data on your device with a recovery code before uploading the encrypted backup to Firebase. We cannot read the plaintext backup.

  • The recovery code is generated on your device.
  • Encrypted backup data may include peptides, schedules, doses, vials, journal entries, settings, and encrypted photos if photo backup is enabled by the app version.
  • Daily encrypted snapshots may be retained for recovery from accidental deletion.
  • A small lookup record may store opaque device identifiers so another device can find the encrypted backup with the recovery code.

If you disable cloud backup, Peppi requests deletion of the encrypted backup, encrypted snapshots, encrypted uploaded photos, and the associated lookup record.

Crash reports and analytics

Anonymous diagnostics are opt-in and off by default. If you enable them, Peppi may send technical crash information such as error type, stack trace, error message, app version, device platform, and recent screen or event names. Reports are designed to exclude peptide names, dose amounts, journal text, photos, and other user-entered health content.

Peppi may record limited anonymous product events such as screen views or feature usage when analytics are enabled in the app build. These events are used to improve app reliability and usability, not advertising.

Notifications

Dose reminders are scheduled through iOS or Android local notifications. Peppi does not run a server that pushes reminder content to you.

Photos and camera access

Photo library and camera permissions are used only so you can attach photos to your profile, journal entries, or dose logs. Photos are stored locally unless optional encrypted backup is enabled.

Exports and reports

CSV exports and doctor-readable PDF reports are generated on your device and shared only when you choose an app from the system share sheet. Once shared, that destination app's own privacy practices apply.

Data deletion

You can delete local app data from inside Peppi by using Settings -> Reset all data, or by uninstalling the app. If cloud backup is enabled, disable cloud backup in the app before uninstalling to delete encrypted remote backup data. See Delete data for detailed instructions.

Children

Peppi is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Third-party services

Peppi may use Apple, Google, Expo, and Firebase services for app distribution, notifications infrastructure, diagnostics, public catalog hosting, and optional encrypted backup. Apple and Google may collect store download, install, crash, and device information under their own policies.

Health disclaimer

Peppi is a tracking tool, not a medical provider. Peptide protocols, dosing, timing, routes, and related decisions should be reviewed with a qualified healthcare professional.
